Established in 1999 at South Wharf, the Atlantic Group [v] is a venue, catering and event management company with a proven track record for over a decade of delivering Melbourne’s most contemporary and cutting-edge events. In August 2007, Atlantic Group [v] unveiled its most bold undertaking- 4 sophisticated and stylish event spaces in a new home in Shed 14 at Central Pier Docklands after a $30 million redevelopment.

Sympathetic to the heritage nature of the sheds, their exterior aesthetic has been retained whilst the inside has been sensitively redeveloped to accommodate new state-of-the-art facilities. The precinct has quickly earnt itself a reputation as the destination for Melbourne's hottest parties and events.

In 2008 Atlantic Group [v] were successful in winning the following awards:

• Restaurant and Catering Awards for Excellence ‘Best Function Centre Caterer’ 2008
• City of Melbourne Melbourne Award in corporate category
• Telstra Business Awards in Medium business category both in State and National

In 2009 Atlantic Group [v] were successful in winning the following awards:

• Restaurant and Catering Awards for Excellence ‘Best Wedding Caterer’ 2009 and then the Ultimate award – ‘Caterer of the Year’ 2009.
• Launch Event of the Year – E Awards for event ‘Lift Off’
